adidas 2021 – A KIT MAKES IT REAL

They’re finally here…the new adidas 2021 teamwear ranges!

Familiar titles such as Squadra, Condivo, Tiro and Striped have all been updated for 2021, and the wait was well worth it.

With a particular focus this year on teamwork and being part of something bigger than oneself, adidas are suitably trying their best to do their bit for the environment, with an emphasis on using recycled materials to create their new ranges.

Lets take a look at what adidas have to offer for 2021 and beyond…

Despite the fresh and modern look, adidas have found a way to include their infamous 3-stripe design on the sleeves, shoulders, and shorts of the new Squadra 21 teamwear range. This mixture of nostalgia and modernity has created a fantastic kit, suitable for any team.

With Aeroready technology built in to the Squadra 21 Jersey, you won’t have to worry about being bogged down by sweat during games, leaving your mind free to focus on the important aspects of your game. The clean, simple design also makes it easy for your club’s kitman to add team details such as badges and squad numbers. All in all, a very attractive kit for those clubs looking for something new.

This is also the case for the new Tiro 21 Trainingwear range, where the mixture of recycled materials and simple modern styles (with a nostalgic twist) has created training-wear that is ready for hard work at training as well as being comfortable in everyday life. The Aeroready technology keeps you dry during those sweaty training drills and is included in most of the Tiro 21 products. While the fleece lining included in the quarter-zip Training top ensures warmth and comfort at any moment.

The big one to look out for last year was of course the 2020 Condivo teamwear range, and adidas haven’t disappointed with their update this year either.

Inspired by the idea of water in motion and very much based on environmental issues, the camo-style design of the jersey hints at the fate of the world’s oceans to all who wear and see it. Even without this important underlying idea, the Condivo 21 jersey still holds a particularly modern look, while the practicality of it is exemplified by the Aeroready technology and mesh panels, adding extra ventilation while you play, making it easier to focus on the things that matter during those 90 minutes.

The Striped 21 SS Jersey follows in the footsteps of previous striped adidas jerseys in that it is based on a classic style. However, the 2021 update is noticeably modernised with the use of varied stripe widths and dull-shiny details. Alongside these visual aspects, the Striped 21 Jersey is made with Primegreen; a series of high-performance recycled materials which fits the environmentally friendly focus of adidas this year. It also makes for a fantastic look and feel for any team looking to move to, or continue with, a vertically striped kit.

Last but not least – there are also 2 new Goalkeeper kits, Squadra 21 GK and Condivo 21 GK.
